Zuckerberg net-worth increased from 79.5 Billion to 81.6 Billion and eclipsed Warren Buffett on a Friday as Facebook shares escalate 2.4 per cent, according to the Bloomberg 500 Billionaires Index.
Mark is now the 3rd richest person after Amazon’s CEO Jeff Bezos, Microsoft founder Bill Gates.
It’s the first time that all the three wealthiest people on this Index made their fortunes from technology.
Mark Zuckerberg, 34 years who is also the Founder and CEO of Social Media giant Facebook, is now worth $81.6 billion which is $373 million more than Buffett, the 87-year-old legendary Investor and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway Inc.
World greatest Investor Mr Buffett, who used to be the 3rd richest person is now at number 4 in this list. He has been slipping because of his massive charity donation.
Zuckerberg also pledged to give away 99 per cent of his Facebook stock in his lifetime to charity.
Zuckerberg assets went up this Friday after too many barriers faced by the company because of Cambridge analytica data-privacy crisis that hammered its shares, which down the share prices to an eight-month low of $152.22 on March 27.
Cambridge analytica was the company who steal the data of 87 million Facebook users and sell that for money which helped USA President Donald Trump election campaign.
It is the first time in the history of Bloomberg that all the three top Billionaire are made their fortune from Technology.
According to the report, Technology assets make up approx about 20 per cent of the wealth in this Index which is more than any other business in the world.
